Be an advocate for a child! We match mentors one-on-one with children in Kindergarten through 8th grade at Kenosha Unified Schools. Mentors are caring, supportive adult role models, friends, cheerleaders, confidants and confidence builders. We ask a commitment of at least 30 minutes once a week for one school year. Mentors receive an orientation to mentoring, training and on-going support. Additional Requirements: Volunteers must be 55 or older, submit to a background check, agree to a school year commitment and participate in monthly training and mentor support seminars.
