Would you like to change the life of someone by helping them learn how to read, write and possibly even speak English? If so--we want you! Literacy Partners is looking for volunteer tutors to instruct adult students in Kewaunee County, WI. We have students in all areas of the county. Tutors and their students usually meet once per week.
Additional Requirements: Volunteer tutors must attend a tutor training course. Our courses are held twice per year, once in spring and once again in Fall. Tutors must also be 18 years old,have at least a high school education or G.E.D., and commit to at least 6 months tutoring to be eligible. An informational session is always held at the beginning of tutor training--so come and see what we are all about!
