Girls on the Run is a youth development program that integrates running into lessons for young girls about feeling joyful, healthy, and confident. It is a 10 week program that culminates with this celebration 5k. The goal of this event is simply to finish and keep moving forward-skip, walk, run, cartwheel, whatever! This gives the girls a tangible sense of accomplishment and helps them realize their limitless potential. I promise you will be inspired and energized at this event! There are many roles, shifts, and responsibilities available to include registration, food pick up, food set up, event set up, take down, activity facilitators, and course guides.
