Heritage Hill Homecoming
Thursday, September 12
Come volunteer at our most important fundraising event of the year, the Heritage Hill Homecoming! During the evening, guests will be invited to this casual gathering to see the improvements that have been made, reestablish their connection with the park, and move them to contribute to its future.
Would you like to volunteer to help make the evening memorable?
Volunteer Needs:
Check-in (4 volunteers): Be the welcoming face that guests see during entry! You’ll be stationed at the Education Center to help check guests in, orient them to the evening’s events, and point them in the right direction.
Tour Check-in (1 volunteer): Man the entry to Tank Cottage, where one of our historic interpreters will be offering abbreviated tours throughout the evening. You'll be stationed on the porch, communicating to guests when the next tour starts and helping control entry/exit to the building.
Food Serving (2 volunteers): Help prep and place trays of hors d’oeuvres and keep the buffet area tidy.
Bar Runner (2 volunteers): Assist bartending staff in replenishing stock and keeping the bar area clean.
Tram Driver (2 drivers): Help guests get around the park. NOTE: You must already be trained as a tram driver in the park to sign up for this role.
Volunteer shifts run from 4:30pm – 9pm. When signing-up, please state in the “notes” section what role you prefer. Preferred roles will be assigned as able.
