JOB SUMMARY: HERITAGE HILL AMBASSADOR
Heritage Hill Ambassadors are on the front line of Heritage Hill State Historical Park’s outreach in the community! As a volunteer ambassador, you will be the first friendly face community members see at various park events, farmer’s markets, craft fairs, and other local events. Ambassadors will be trained in all aspects of park knowledge, including park history, membership and upcoming events. Ambassadors should be motivated self-starters and excited and passionate about Heritage Hill, history, and working as part of a team!
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent Heritage Hill State Historical Park at park events and local community gatherings
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about promoting the park to potential visitors of all ages
- Remain up-to-date on park events and where to direct potential visitors for more information
- Be comfortable working independently and as a team with little staff supervision
Time Commitment: The date and length of ambassador shifts vary depending on event needs.
Qualifications: Driver’s license (or reliable transportation) is required, and some customer service experience is preferred.
Dress Code: Business casual attire is required and/or branded Heritage Hill State Historical Park attire as available.
