Help vision screen students in your community! Join us at a Milwaukee school. We need a few volunteers to help us identify children with potential vision problems and set them on the road to healthy vision through a children's vision screening.
Prevent Blindness Wisconsin volunteers vision screen at schools and childcare centers throughout greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County. All volunteers are required to complete and pass a background check. Volunteers will receive information on vision screening after registering. A PBW staff member will be on site to facilitate the vision screening. No previous experience with health care or vision screenings is necessary. This is an opportunity for individual adults, teens and small groups (maximum size of 3).
Time commitment: The vision screening is scheduled for May 2, 2024, at 8:00am. The vision screening will last approximately 3 hours. Volunteers will receive the vision screening location address after registering.
Please contact Breanna Reckamp, Director of Operations, at breanna@pbwi.org or (414) 765-0505 to learn more and to sign up for the vision screening.
