Do you have a background or studying in a field with the Elderly or Social Work? If so, we are seeking your help & support!!

Our Older Adults program would like a volunteer who is comfortable & compassionate to help us with our Elderly. We are interested in someone with the patience and empathy to come in and assist our participants with resources and referrals during the intake process. This would involve doing a verbal intake and assessment, and then utilizing a system set up here in our office. This would allow you to research residential boundaries by zip code and identify outside resources they can potentially seek and apply for. Your task will be specifically to collect data and submit any requests to the Impact 211 network for them to get started and serve as their guide. 

Responsibilities:

  • Initial Contact
  • Data Collection
  • Providing procedural information and customer service

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
  • Basic computer proficiency in data management systems and knowledge of relevant eligibility criteria and program guidelines
