Join Girl Scout 6th-9th graders for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to imagine life as an aerospace engineer! During this five hour event, Girl Scouts will use problem-based learning (PBL) techniques to drop a Lander on the surface of Mars, program a robot to retrieve surface objects for research, and meet a real planetary geoscientist!
Volunteers are needed to assist with general program tasks, offer technical assistance and teaching support, and perhaps even teach your own segment (with a helpful facilitators guide).
If you love education, space, robots, or building and destroying things, you'll love helping out on the Girl Scouts' Mission to Mars!
Bonus: Lunch is included!
