Visitor Engagement and Nature Store Volunteer, Spring-Fall Afternoon Shift

Welcome visitors to the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center and serve as one of their first points of contact with The Ridges Sanctuary. Volunteers provide information about The Ridges’ history and mission, answer questions about trails and programs, and help visitors make the most of their experience.

Depending on training and comfort level, volunteers may also assist with trail fees, Nature Store purchases, online sales, memberships, and program reservations. Volunteers receive the resources and training needed to answer visitor questions and process transactions. New volunteers are paired with an experienced volunteer or staff member.
