Love to work with people? Visitor service opportunities are perfect for those who value connecting with people and the community. The Chippewa Valley Museum needs volunteers to work at our Front Desk and in our Museum Store. The volunteer work will include greeting visitors, using a cash register to ring up sales and answering the phone.
- These volunteers are scheduled year-round in 3-5 hour shifts during operating hours.
- They handle the main building’s museum admissions and gift shop sales while being a visitor’s main point of contact.
- This is a slower-paced environment with plenty of staff support. Bring a quiet task to occupy time between visitors.
The Chippewa Valley Museum is open 5-8PM on Tuesdays, 12-5PM Wednesday through Friday, and 10AM-5PM on Saturdays. We need someone at the front desk for all of these shifts!
You can volunteer weekly, biweekly, monthly, or just fill in as a sub every once in a while!
