Join United Way of Kenosha County at the 2023 Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Participants will walk the two-mile parade route in celebration of United Way of Kenosha County's 100th anniversary. We encourage volunteers to bring their family and friends. Volunteer registration is open to individuals and groups.
Important Event Information
- Participants should arrive at the parade staging area between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
- The parade steps off at 1:00 p.m. and ends between 3:00-3:30 p.m.
- The parade route is slightly under two miles.
- There is no rain date. If there is severe weather, the parade is cancelled. If there is only rain, the parade will continue as planned.
- The parade lineup and map will be available at the end of June. UWKC will send it to volunteers via email.
Participants are encouraged to:
- wear their United Way and Lived United t-shirts. A limited number of t-shirts are available on a first come, first served basis,
- dress in red, white, and blue attire,
- decorate wagons and bikes, and
- bring signs celebrating United Way of Kenosha County's 100th anniversary and/or United Way of Kenosha County's programs (e.g., Readers Are Leaders, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, 211, etc.).
NOTE: Participants are welcome to bring pets. Please make sure to bring supplies to clean up after them.
