The STAR Center is searching for volunteers who can assist older adults in exercise during the PALS Program. Physical Activity for Lifelong Success (PALS) is an introductory exercise program for individuals 60+. We will train you. Volunteers will be actively engaging in the program with participants.
This is an excellent experience for students or community members interested in Adaptive Physical Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, and Sports Science. University students are not expected to volunteer during midterms and finals- we are able to work with your schedule.
