Welcome teens to the clothes closet and show them where they can find things they are looking for. Some teens need help figuring out their size, others want to be left to themselves. All clothes must be tried on, so volunteers show the teens to the try on area, collect empty hangers, and help with "check-out" which is a running check off of general categories of items taken. If there aren't many guests, hosts can put out more items from back stock, re-decorate displays, or visit.
This is a great opportunity to connect with teens in the community, some whom do not have much encouragement in their life.
You will work in teams of 3 volunteers, most of whom are 50+ year old women.
If this is your first time volunteering here, one of your team members will meet you 10 minutes early to give you a quick orientation.
