Hello Rockstar Volunteers!!
The Salvation Army runs a program called Angel Giving Tree, where families can place applications for their children to recieve gifts and a food basket for the holidays. Over 500 families, and over 500 children, recieve gifts - so there is a lot to organize and prepare! Every child deserves a warming holiday, so help us brighten their Christmas this year!
Below are the shifts we have scheduled to make this year great!
Week 1:
- November 21st and 22nd, 10am-2pm and 1pm-3pm
- Assist in organzing and sorting donated items and get the "store" ready
Week 2:
- November 28th-Nov. 30th, from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
- Assit in organizing and sorting donated items
- Start organizing the gifts and food baskets!
Week 3:
- December 5th-December 9th, every day from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
- Continue preparing!!
Week 4:
- December 12th and 13th, 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
- Prepare prepare!
- December 14th - DISTRIBUTION DAY!
- Assit hundreds of families in gathering their gifts and food boxes! The most heartwarming day!
