Give Gift Cards

Giving to local families that are in a medical crisis with some immediate relief and giving them some peace of mind!  You can drop off gift cards at Community Benefit Tree at 1734 Ken Dale Drive Kaukauna. Office hours are M, T, W, and F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Th 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  This can also be done as a drive at your place of employment, school, church, etc.

Cards that are LIFE SAVING: Grocery stores, gas cards, restaurant cards, hotel cards, and airline cards.

Supplies that Celebrate lives!  We could use your help to assist us with items needed to help our families plan a Celebration of Support fundraising party for an individual and/or their family going through a medical crisis as well as general needs for our families.

We could use the following:

We have volunteer opportunities to help process items that are donated to our thrift store, such as cleaning the item, checking to make sure all parts and pieces are included, checking to see if in good condition and working properly, and labeling with the proper store code. This is a good opportunity for families and/or groups to work together.

Hope Care Package Drive

Community Benefit Tree (CBT) needs your support to host a care package drive and help families going through a medical crisis by providing some joy, hope and comfort.  When families have a sick loved one, they often are drained emotionally and financially.  We would like to send them care packages to assist them with this difficult time.  

Looking for companies, schools, churches, families and organizations to host a "Hope Care Package Drive". The collection box will display a list of needs to assemble the care packages to give to families in the community struggling with a medical crisis.  These items will be packaged and given to families who need immediate assistance.

Items needed:  Gas cards, Restaurant cards, Coffee Places gift cards, Grocery Store gift cards, board games, socks, blankets, lip balm, lotions, crossword puzzles, kid's toys, coloring books (adult and child), crayons, colored pencils, and totes to put the items in.

Medical Debt Awareness-#1 Cause of Bankruptcy. 1 and 3 people delay medical care due to cost. We have equipment that we use at each of our family’s fundraisers or
rent out to the public, that at times needs to be repaired, painted, or created. Along with
re-purposing of items to sell in our Online store. We need individuals
who are good with fixing things and/or good with building/working with wood, crafty, like to paint, etc…

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of painting, mechanical, crafty, creative
and good with wood would be helpful but required.

TIME COMMITMENT: Assist as needed basis for specific projects/repairs.
AGE: 16 and up

To assist with the Rental and Online Resale/Re-purpose Store of ecommerce or rental items. Includes taking pictures, pricing, and positioning of items along with downloading them onto the e-commerce apps.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of computer and learn quickly.
TIME COMMITMENT: Some duties can be done at home and some will need to be done at the Celebration center.
AGE: 16 and up

Must have internet access if posting items for sale.

To assist with the rental/resale/re-purpose of store items.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Assist in cleaning, organizing, and keeping inventory of items.
Putting together rental orders for pick up as well as packaging of
online orders.  Helping with return and putting away of rental items. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Like or Love to clean and organize. Work in a
group or as an individual.

TIME COMMITMENT: There is shift opportunities or we can customize
to your availability.
Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. shifts
AGE: 16 and up (with an adult)

Light clerical work, computer-related projects, assists in preparing
for event projects including mailings, and answering phones.  Assisting with storefront
pickups and drop offs of rental or resale items.  Greeting visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS: Willingness to travel to office in Kaukauna.
Knowledge of computers helpful. Good Communication Skills.

TIME COMMITMENT: Monday-Friday shifts 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 - 4 p.m.
AGES: 18 and up

Members share their gifts in service to our mission by providing the organization with their professional expertise, diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives; their connections, resources, colleagues or peers; their philanthropic support or other forms of needed assistance.  The board team has no governing function with the organization.

You are required to Pick one team to serve on

• Marketing/Fundraising Team – assist with marketing and fundraising.

• Development/Strategic Planning Team – assist with strategic future planning of the organization for growth.

• Review/Governance Team – assist with board governance and internal operations, reviews applications for assistance and oversees the application process.

To serve on the Board as a voting member, to develop policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of Community Benefit Tree Inc., to maintain, develop, and update long-range plans, to monitor finances of the organization, its programs and performance, secure and ensure adequate funds to support the operations, to supervise and evaluate the Executive Director, and to fulfill the Mission of the organization.

TERM: Two year commitment with expected regular meeting attendance.  Meetings are scheduled on the third Friday of each month.

5 to 10 hours a month

Family Coordinators play a key role in providing assistance to our families. They would advise in the family’s financial sustainability plan, give resources, and emotional support to our families.

Qualifications: Training is required. Need to have time committed in supporting a family through their medical crisis. Some financial understanding is desirable, along with an ear to listen and a heart for compassion.

Time Commitment: 5 to 10 hours a month, but subject to change depending on how many families we are helping

Design/support our social media platforms, along with the opportunity
to do other awareness opportunities for CBT such as dropping off flyer's and/or
posters at area businesses, expo’s, etc...
QUALIFICATIONS:  Familiarity with all social media outlets desired.
Some travel required.
TIME COMMITMENT: Depend on your availability you can do this from
home or travel to awareness opportunities. Days and Times would
depend on opportunities.
AGE: 16 and up

Coaches play a key role in instructing the Celebration of Support (families benefit) team
on the programs and tools Community Benefit Tree has to assist in having a successful event. Lead the Celebration Team in the right planning direction.

QUALIFICATIONS: Love planning events. Like to teach others.  Willingness to travel some distance. Time to help others. Training is required.

TIME COMMITMENT: 5 to 10 hours per month.

Volunteer at Celebration of Support (families benefits) fundraising events as well as our main impact fund events assisting with raffles, silent auctions, kids games, bake sale, serving food, grilling, etc.

yourself, or as a family or group

QUALIFICATIONS: Love to help others and work with others to support someone in need!

TIME COMMITMENT: You choose event and what area and time you
would like to help.
