The Market Leadership Advisory Board, represents a diversity of locally based leaders who advise on strategic and tactical activities implemented as part of USGBC’s global work plan. This leadership group works collaboratively within a larger network of Market Leadership Advisory Boards in order to develop and implement integrative, consistent, and effective local work plans in all strategic markets. This structure further reports local metrics that contribute to the global success of the USGBC community.

Position: Transformation Awards Event Ambassador

Description: 

We need your help to make our Transformation Awards Reception celebration successful! We are honoring the individuals and organizations who are leading the way toward a brighter, more sustainable future. It’ll highlight some of the most energy efficient and sustainable projects in the state. We’ll also provide delicious, local food and beverage, while attendees network with the “who’s who” of sustainability. We need volunteers to help plan the reception, organize the award nomination and judging process, and help the day of the awards event to ensure it runs smoothly, attendees feel welcome and appreciated, and quick setup and cleanup of the space.

Description: 

Emerging Professionals enhance their communities. We seek to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves quality of life. USGBC's Emerging Professionals program provides unique opportunities for millennials to lead, take action, and share life together. Help us cultivate a local community of action-oriented peers, via gatherings and events.

An Emerging Professional is anyone under the age of 30 and not currently enrolled as a student.

USGBC is a champion for green building and advocacy plays an important role in who we are and what we do. We need your help to achieve our mission in Wisconsin. We seek to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves quality of life. USGBC Wisconsin Regional Leaders are a main line of engagement for those interested in getting involved with USGBC. Leaders help us provide an outlet for engagement by hosting local events and supporting statewide initiatives.
