La Crescent Animal Rescue is seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join our leadership team. We currently have openings for Board Representatives and a Vice President position.

 

If you have a love for animals and a desire to make a meaningful impact in your community, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved. Board members help guide the mission, provide oversight, and ensure the success of our rescue’s operations and programs.

 

Open Positions:

 

Vice President – Supports the President, helps oversee board activities, and assists with strategic planning and organizational leadership.

 

Board Representatives – Participate in monthly meetings, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of the rescue.

 

Meetings: Held monthly in La Crescent, MN

Requirements: A passion for animal welfare, teamwork, and commitment to attending meetings and supporting rescue initiatives

Committee that solicits donations, applies for grants, etc. Members of the fundraising committee will help raise money for the operation of the rescue.

Responsibilities:

Brainstorming fundraising ideasScheduling fundraising activitiesRecruiting volunteers to help committee members at the eventsRecruiting sponsors to subsidize the various eventsReporting the outcome of the events to the board of directors

Qualifications:

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsPassionate about animal welfarePrevious experience in a similar role is encouraged but not required

Time Commitment:

Approximately 4 hours per month

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community and contribute to the well-being of animals.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with morning care and cleaning at La Crescent Animal Rescue! With two people, the job takes about 4 hours and includes feeding, scooping, cleaning, and—best of all—spending time with our furry friends.

Must be 18+ We're looking for a commitment of 1 to 2 mornings a month.No experience needed—training provided!
