Opportunities From: Volunteer Wisconsin

Join our Environmental Justice Task Force in cleaning up a segment of the highway! There are three opportunities in 2026 to help clean up your local environment. All supplies are provided. AGE REQUIREMENTS – All two-lane highways, participants shall be at least 11 years of age or in the 6th grade. 

Date(s) and time(s): Saturday, May 30th, 9 to 11 AM | Saturday, August 8th, 9 to 11 AM | Saturday, October 17th, 9 to 11 AM 

Please note that back up dates for inclement weather will be the following Saturday of each scheduled date: June 6th, August 15th, and October 24th

Location: State Highway 54, Section: State Highway 172 to County Highway GE

Parking: We will meet at the Oneida Public Utilities parking lot, 3759 W Mason St, Hobart WI, 54155.

Join us on March 28th for electronics recycling: Bring your old, unused, and broken electronics to us to clean up your home and environment. Are you a passionate individual interested in social justice? Do you have experience or already work in a similar field? We’d love you to join our team and spend several hours per month volunteering with us as a leader to help guide our staff, board, and volunteers in developing a plan and materials. JOSHUA is looking for individuals for their task force who are passionate about social justice and who are looking for a way to contribute to their community by offering and participating in solving local issues. We currently have an active Transformational Justice Committee & Spiritual Leaders Caucus.  In 2024 we will be adding our Housing Task Force once again, along with an Integrated Voter Registration Team.  We are currently looking for leaders to run the Housing Task Force and Integrated Voter Registration team.

We are seeking individuals who care for social justice issues and want to be an active member in the community. As a potential board member, you’d sit in on meetings making decisions for the organization, helping to do outreach, plan events, and more.
