Volunteer: Serve up some Hope: Join Us in Nourishing Hearts and Souls – Volunteer to Provide and/or Serve a Meal for the Homeless!The Cathedral Center is a shelter for homeless women and families facing an emergency housing crisis. We are home to 32 women and 8 families for up to 90 days while they work with our case managers to achieve a personal action plan. Volunteers help us keep things running smoothly and provide the comforts of home through our Hospitality Program! Groups of 5-8 people sign up to provide a meal which they purchase, prepare, and deliver to our clients on a monthly or semi-monthly basis. Through this program we are able to provide a meal 365 days a year! Our Hospitality Program is great for parish groups, clubs and organizations, corporate groups, and friends and families who want to serve a home cooked meal with a friendly face. Groups are needed 7 days a week.
