Balloon Lake Run

Children's Voice has created a Balloon Lake run in Madison Wisconsin around Monona Lake. This race is a half marathon and a 4-mile running race to establish funds for children's books to teach them the dangers of drugs. This race will be the first year for this particular cause, and we hope to continue to build the event more significant and extensive to work for funding to educate children about the dangers of drugs. Research is used to target vulnerable children in at-risk areas and encourage schools and daycares to teach children the risks of drugs with educational material. With the community's help, we can create a brighter and safer future for our children. There are several paid volunteer spots for this race at https://volunteersignup.org/T7LF7. The Balloon Release Run is a public event, and there are great prizes. It's a good family event where maybe part of the family likes to run, and the other part can help with volunteering. Everyone is welcome at this event. The volunteer spots are first come, first serve.
