Who We Are
Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity's (WRHFH) mission is to build strong and stable communities through shelter. WRHFH is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, and was started in 1997.
We have completed 46 homes, and over 400 home repair projects in that time. Today Wild Rivers serves four counties; Burnett, Polk, Rusk, and Washburn, and has a ReStore in both Spooner, and St. Croix Falls.
What We Do
Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity builds and repairs houses for those in need. With the help of donations, volunteers, and fund raising we are able to help income qualified households in Burnett, Polk, Rusk, and Washburn counties.
We also operate two thriving ReStores that support our mission by raising funds through sales. The ReStores in Spooner and St. Croix Falls accept donations of gently used items such as furniture, appliances, and building materials which it then resells to support our cause.
