In 1990, Kenosha Visiting Nurse Association (KVNA) modified its structure to accommodate the wellness needs of the community. Visiting Nurse Community Care (VNCC) was created to provide and promote community health programs to meet the health and wellness needs of diverse communities.
Overall Goals:
1.To lead by example in the field of home healthcare, wellness and disease prevention.
2.Apply evidence-based wellness approaches that are innovative and consumer-driven.
3.As effective change agents create opportunities for relationship building and participate in groups to address emerging chronic disease issues.
What We Do
Visiting Nurse Community Care is the division of KVNA that provides affordable population health services to the community and local businesses. Some of the services VNCC offers include CPR, Flu Shots, Health Screens, and technical assistance and support for businesses seeking to deliver wellness programming to employees.
