Rhinelander Ice Association Inc

The Rhinelander Ice Association is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving and expanding hockey and figure skating in the Rhinelander area. Our goal is to provide quality youth ice sports programs where participants can acquire skills, learn teamwork, socialize and have fun while interacting with appropriate adult role models. With the support of area businesses and individuals, our building is owned and operated by the organization. The Rhinelander Ice Association was founded in the 1970s. In the mid-80s the roof of the Rhinelander Youth Sports Center was erected, and in 1990, the building was completed.

The RIA provides youth hockey, youth figure skating, open skate, open hockey, an outdoor rink for public use, many tournaments and other events. During the off season, RIA hosts many events such as the circus, concerts, etc. All proceeds from these events are reinvested into the youth or the building.
