Faith In Action - Washburn County, DBA Neighbor to Neighbor

The mission of Faith in Action is to provide supportive services to seniors and adults with disabilities through trained, caring volunteers and a network of organizations. Faith in Action - Washburn County began in 2004 to provide services as a safety-net to individuals who were in need but had no opportunity to obtain other assistance. In 2018 we started doing business as Neighbor to Neighbor. Today we still serve seniors and adults with disabilities in ways that no other agencies are able to.

Our volunteers provide services including (but not limited to): Local transportation, friendly phone calls and visiting, delivery of groceries through different partnerships, seasonal yard work, as well as deliver library materials to shut ins. We partner with other agencies and combine resources to provide our community members with the most help possible. Our volunteers enjoy helping others but also strive to create relationships with those they assist. Our volunteers receive no financial compensation or fuel assistance for providing services. All services are provided free of charge.
