Who We Are
Downtown Rhinelander Incorporated is a collaboration of property owners, business people and community volunteers who have jointly committed to strengthening the Rhinelander community and Downtown Rhinelander utilizing the Main Street Four-Point approach. The four-point approach was established by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 1980. In 2006 Rhinelander was designated a Wisconsin Main Street Community.
What We Do
The Main Street Approach is community-driven. The underlying premise is to encourage economic development within the context of historic preservation in ways appropriate to today's marketplace. The FOUR POINTS of Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Restructuring work together to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort.
