Who We Are
Evergreen Theater is an all-volunteer nonprofit community theater organization. Founded in 1985, we merged with Next Door Theater in 2008 to create the area's only multi-generational community theater with productions and programs for all ages.
What We Do
Evergreen Theater produces a minimum of 8 shows a season, Mainstage (adult) and Young Actors. Young Actor shows are performed by youth, for youth. In addition, we offer summer classes for youth as well as multiple programs for youth. Additionally, we offer workshops approximately once a month for youth and occasionally for adults. The goal of Evergreen Theater is to make the arts, particularly theater, available and accessible for everyone. We never charge anyone a fee to audition or participate in a production. All of our classes, programs, and workshops are offered free or at low-cost.
