Explore La Crosse, also known as, The La Crosse County Convention and Visitors Bureau, is a non-profit organization representing the area in the solicitation and servicing of all types of travelers to this area… whether they visit for business or pleasure.

We are the single entity that brings together the interests of city government, trade and civic associations along with individual travel suppliers – hotels, motels, restaurants, attractions, local transportation – in building outside visitor traffic to this area.

Tourism is an increasingly important source of income and employment for this area and therefore warrants a coordinated and concerted effort to ensure continued growth. This growth is best nurtured by the role played by a convention and visitors bureau to continually improve the scope and caliber of services the area provides to corporate and association meeting planners, to individual business travelers and to leisure travelers.

Be an Epic Travel Ambassador Volunteer and Representative of the La Crosse Region!

Explore La Crosse is looking for individuals that are passionate about the La Crosse Region and the State of WI, to promote our area as an epic place to visit. We are looking to add epic Travel Ambassadors to our team at the Travel Wisconsin Welcome Center and the Great River Landing. Shifts are 3-5 hour time increments, am or pm, Monday through Sunday.

Shifts can be consistent or on an as needed basis. This is a volunteer position, though mileage will be paid to Travel Ambassadors when traveling to and from the Welcome Centers. Water and snacks are also provided during scheduled shifts as well as an Explore La Crosse polo shirt and name tag.
