Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin

Versiti is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving blood health for patients everywhere. We bring together donors, scientists, clinicians, and community partners to ensure that every donation reaches the people who need it most. We also provide the science behind the medicine through our diagnostic labs and Versiti Blood Research Center, where scientists research treatments and cures for leukemia, sickle cell disorders, hemophilia and more.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Join us as a Mobile Blood Drive Volunteer and help create a warm, welcoming experience for blood donors in our community. We are looking for community-minded individuals to work with our dedicated team of employees by assisting our donors during their appointment. You will: -Greet and register donors who come in to donate. -Monitor donors for post-donation reactions. -Offer or serve refreshments to donors. Versiti welcomes volunteers who: -Are aged 18 and older -Willing to volunteer at least four hours per month -Successfully pass a criminal background check -Have outstanding customer service skills -Work well as part of a team -Are mature and reliable We provide: -Training -An easy-to-use App for scheduling shifts and recording hours -Mileage reimbursement for trips over 50 miles -Flexible shifts and locations
