Who We Are

Door-Tran is a creative community network dedicated to connecting people to transportation services that are affordable, available, and accessible. Door-Tran exists to ensure a self-sustaining, community driven, affordable, available, and accessible transportation system for the Door County community. With the vision of becoming a central hub, Door-Tran will work with a network of service providers to decrease transportation barriers and increase efficiencies.

What We Do

Door-Tran is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Door County with a simple mission: to connect people to transportation services that are affordable, available, and accessible. We accomplish this by coordinating with partner agencies and providing direct support through programs such as: - Half-Price Travel Vouchers for taxi and wheelchair transportation - Veteran Volunteer Transportation offering free rides to out-of-county medical appointments - County-Wide Volunteer Transportation for residents traveling within Door, Brown, and Kewaunee counties with fares based on household income - No-interest Vehicle Repair and Purchase Loans for low-income, employed residents repair or purchase a vehicle - Half-Price Gas Vouchers (up to $100) for employment-related travel - Vehicle Repair Grants (up to $500) for eligible residents on a fixed income - Information and Referral services to help residents find the best transportation options - Collaboration with Door 2 Door Rides and Door County Connect, our public transit system
