Who We Are

CASA of Rock County's mission is to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA of Rock County helps ensure a child's voice is not lost along the way.

What We Do

CASA of Rock County recruits community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA of Rock County helps ensure a child's voice is not lost along the way. CASA volunteers support children and families involved in the child welfare system. Volunteers get to know the child by spending time with them weekly, talking with the adults in their life: birth family, foster family, teachers, medical professionals, attorneys, social workers, and others. Advocates use the information they gather to inform the Court of what the child needs, wants, and their best interests at that time. We are simply looking for people who care about the children and future of their community. As a volunteer, you will be thoroughly trained and well-supported by CASA staff to help you through each case.
