Who We Are
The Lowell Center was established in 1982 to provide programs and activities to the seniors of Wisconsin Rapids and the outlying areas. The center was relocated to the Centralia Center in December 2003 along with the Aging Resource Center of Central Wisconsin and Park Place Adult Day Services.
What We Do
The Lowell Center strives to enhance the quality of life for older adults and to promote positive attitudes toward aging. The Center fosters the social, physical and emotional well-being of older adults by providing educational and support services and offering inter-generational, recreation, cultural and volunteer opportunities. The Center encourages participation in all aspects of community life. The Lowell Center is an state accredited senior center offering a wide-range of programs and activities for adults aged 50 and better. Programs cover social and recreational, educational, health and wellness, inter-generational, and volunteer opportunities.
