Who We Are
ProMedica Hospice
Hospice care is a specialized care that focuses on supporting you and your loved ones during an advanced illness. The emphasis is on comfort and quality of life. We provide care wherever you call home: in your house, a skilled nursing center, an assisted living facility or independent living facility. Our caregivers help create individualized care plans, set personal goals, and manage pain and symptoms. Every patient is different and the care is customized to the patient needs.
What We Do
Volunteering with ProMedica Hospice will give you an opportunity to truly make a difference in another's life. Your smile, your listening, your attention, and your compassionate presence will bring the important gift of connection and affirmation to someone in their last phase of life. Volunteers help improve the quality of our patients’ lives through social interaction and companionship. We have the following opportunities in your community: Friendly Visitor/Companion Volunteer, Vigil Volunteer, Vet for Vet Volunteer and Pet Volunteers.
