Basics for Local Kids

Basics for Local Kids serves kids ages newborn through 18 years old with winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves at no cost. Over 3600 western Wisconsin kids have benefited from our service since 2010.

Basics for Local Kids purchases, collects, and distributes new and gently used winter-wear for kids ages newborn through 18 years old living in Pierce or St. Croix counties. Distribution takes place October-January.
