Who We Are

MISSION STATEMENT: Walworth County recognizes that people in the community can make great contributions as volunteers in local government. The county supports and encourages the use of volunteers, when and where it is feasible and appropriate, to enhance and expand the work of county staff..

What We Do

Volunteers play an important role in providing services to the Walworth County community and specifically the government programs of Walworth County. The Volunteer Services office is located at the Government Center and is a one stop shop for matching people who want to volunteer with sites that are looking for volunteers Volunteer Services is responsible for the recruitment and placement of volunteers and interns in any program or facility that the gov-ernment of Walworth County operates. That includes Lakeland Health Care Center, Lakeland School, Health and Human Services, Public Works, Walworth County Jail, Sheriff’s Office, and Court-house, as well as offices and programs at the Government Center.
