COVID-19 Response Initiative Instructions for Agencies
A central page has been created to make opportunities for volunteers easy to identify and respond.

If you represent a community group or other entity that is not an organization, please let us know about your volunteer needs here.
If you are an individual in need of services, please utilize one of the following methods to contact 211:
- Text "COVID19" to 211-211 for information and county resources.
- Visit www.211Wisconsin.org/Coronavirus to find local resources.
- Call 211 to speak with a call specialist. Call volume is currently very high and may lead to longer wait times than normal.

How to Post: New Opportunities
1. Create an opportunity through the normal process (the linked tutorial uses the word "Needs" in place of "Opportunity") by selecting “My Agency,” then “Opportunities,” “Create New Opportunity.” From the Initiative drop down menu, select COVID-19 Response.
2. Consider applying qualifications if you are posting a specialized need. Qualifications can be selected from the drop down menu. If you require a qualification that is not available in the menu, please contact Sheila at svanderwood@unitedwaywi.org.
3. Once all details and qualifications are recorded on the page, save and submit the opportunity to be approved and activated.
How to Post: Edit Existing Opportunities
If you have existing opportunities you would like featured on the COVID-19 Initiative page, click the opportunity title to edit and select COVID-19 from the Initiative drop down menu.
