Mission:  The mission of the Marshfield Area Volunteer Center is to advocate and promote volunteerism, while connecting citizens to volunteer opportunities that meet community needs.

Program and Services:

Fill a Backpack, Fulfill a Dream
Marshfield Clinic Center for Community Outreach Youth Net Program and Marshfield Area Volunteer Center are coordinating the third annual "Fill a backpack, Fulfill a dream" for the 2008-2009 school year.  Traditional school supplies will be distributed in August to 4K through 8th grade students who qualify.

Last year, 314 backpacks and supplies were collected and distributed to students in need from Auburndale, Marshfield, Neillsville, Pittsville, Spencer and Stratford.

Ways you can help: donate a backpack, supplies or money.  Drop off supplies at Marshfield Area United Way, 101 West 29th Street, Suite 104, Marshfield.
