United Way's Volunteer Network

Programs and Services:
United Way’s Volunteer Network works agencies and individuals to help meet community needs through volunteerism.  The Volunteer Center works with over 70 agencies to assist with volunteer recruitment, best practices, networking opportunities and training.  Some of the programs that the Volunteer Network organize include National Youth Service Day, Helping Hand Awards, Volunteer Coordinator Networking Lunches and Celebration of Caring Company Work Day.  We also work with families, groups, churches, companies, schools and individuals to assist them in finding opportunities to make a difference in the community. 

When we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. We build the strength of our neighborhoods.  We bolster the health of our communities.  And we change the lives of those who walk by us every day.
